Beginning operation in August 2008, Eka Hospital currently serves in two strategic locations: Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) in Tangerang, Banten and in Pekanbaru (PKU), Riau, Sumatra. In meeting growing healthcare demand and expectations, Eka Hospital offers cutting-edge medical equipment and dedicated team of doctors. Boasting a capacity of nearly 400 beds, Eka Hospital has more than 180 consultants specializing in various medical and surgical disciplines.
Eka Hospital has certainly raised a high standard in healthcare services in many ways. By investing in integrated Hospital Information System, Eka Hospital has become the first e-hospital in Indonesia. Having centralized patient database and electronic ordering system reduces human errors and enables faster service. With EMR system, digital transfer of patient medical record from one hospital to another can be done without hassle.
Additionally, Eka Hospital is the first to introduce one patient one room policy in Indonesia. Aside for the charity ward, all patients ranging from the most basic room to suite will have their own room. It promotes safety, privacy and convenience for all of our patients.
Eka Hospital has been fully certified by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in its first year of operation. The accreditation covers the whole hospital services, which includes: Management and Administration; Medical Services; Emergency Services; Nursing Services; Medical Records; Pharmacy; Health, Safety and Environment; Radiology; Laboratory; Operating Theatre; Nosocomial Infection Control; Perinatal High Risk; Rehabilitation Medical Services; Nutrition Services; Intensive Services; and Blood Bank Services.

Eka Hospital’s commitment to be the leading healthcare provider in Indonesia, has been performed by the achievement of JCI international accreditation by Eka Hospital BSD, on 11 December, 2010.
The accreditation places Eka Hospital BSD as one of the very first few international hospitals in Indonesia. And achieving such milestone in only 2 years of operation is a testament of Eka Hospital’s commitment in provoding safe and high quality care.
