Inpatient Room
Eka Hospital implements ‘One-Patient-One-Room’ policy, except for the Charity Basic Room which was required by the Ministry of Healthcare. One Patient-One-Room Policy allows each patient to have its own private-exclusive room to reduce patient-to-patient contact. Each room is equipped with nurse call system, 3-way electronically adjustable bed and modern furniture to ensure patients’ safety and comfort. 5 types of rooms at the hospital are as follows:
Facilities:
- Flexible partition in patient sleeping area for maximum privacy or gathering with family and friends
- Private guest bedroom for family with full size bed and own cabinetry
- Spacious living/seating area with sofa set and a convertible sofa bed, for family and friends
- Dining & pantry area with microwave, refrigerator and complimentary hot drinks
- Entertainment unit: 3 Flat panel TVs with cable channel, DVD/VCD/CD players, video game console at request and complimentary selections of DVD for viewing
- 2 bathrooms with hot water facility for patient and guests

ICU/HCU/PICU/NICU/PerinatologyOur Intensive Care Units (ICU), High Care Units (HCU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit have separated cubicles to ensure patient safety and comfort. These units are equipped with Visitor’s gallery to allow family member and friends to visit without disturbing patients. Eka Hospital NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) and Perinatology provides special care for infants who have been diagnosed with particular diseases and premature newborn infants to serve up to 4 infants. The facility is overseen by a neonatalogist physician and 10 highly skilled nurses.
